Derek Keller launched 440 Gentleman Supply in January of 2013. Drawing from early maker influences during childhood while making leather belts alongside his dad and sewing clothes with his mom, he makes each item completely by hand. Each piece is hand cut, punched, stitched and finished in Raleigh, NC. What started as a hobby making leather suspenders evolved into what is now a full-time gig. All goods are made in small batches. So, while there will always be some standard stock items, certain collections are limited in numbers.
Many of our products are inspired by modernist architecture and vintage motorcycles & gear. Core products include leather bags, wallets, and leather Apple watch bands. Minimalist designs without any unneeded frills. We let the beauty of leather do the talking by keeping the designs clean, simple, and perfectly constructed. We strive to create leather goods that will last a lifetime and beyond using the best materials in the world.
We have also launched a motorcycle specific project
